Nike SB has consistently pushed the boundaries of creativity in sneaker design, particularly with its SB Dunk Low line. These shoes have become a canvas for artistic expression, transcending traditional skateboarding culture to captivate a broader audience of sneakerheads. Following the success of inline colorways like the Paisley Print, Adobe, and Mystic Red designs, Nike SB is set to captivate its audience again by introducing the Pastoral Print colorway.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Pastoral Print is a remarkable addition to the SB Dunk Low lineage. It deviates from the typical design approach in other inline releases such as the Deep Royal Blue Vintage Green, City Of Love Light Bone, and Burgundy Crush. This unique iteration features canvas material enveloping every upper panel, offering a distinct tactile experience. The panels are adorned with a serene pastoral scenery print, showcasing elements like trees and clouds, creating a tranquil and picturesque visual appeal. The patterned canvas is a tearaway upper that reveals a contrasting bright red suede underneath. Not the first time Nike SB has done tearaway uppers; this is a common theme for Nike SB as the shoes develop a unique character after use.
Deviating from this outdoor-inspired theme are graffiti-style SB branding and a playful Nike-branded ball graphic interspersed amidst the pastoral imagery. The shoe's aesthetic is further enhanced by contrasting dark tan laces and a flat gold Nike logo on the heel tab, striking a balance between subtlety and statement. Underpinning this artistic upper is a sail rubber midsole with tan contrast stitching, complemented by a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike SB Dunk Low Premium Pastoral Print will release on April 22, 2024, at Nike SB skate shops and potentially via Nike online. Available in men’s sizing, the pair will retail for $125.
