Turning pro in 2011, Ishod Wair has grown his career and sponsorships across the board. Originally releasing a Nike SB Dunk Low colorway six years back, the time had come for Ishod to get his own signature model. Released at the beginning of 2022, the Nike SB Ishod Wair is back in a Premium “Light Stone” edition.
Taking inspiration from his love of basketball, the silhouette combines a 90’s basketball design with tech for the modern skater. The base layer of the silhouette is constructed with a breathable mesh, a nod to retro basketball silhouettes. Down on the toe box, a premium perforated leather with a Nike Swoosh comes in “Light Stone,” making its way onto the eyelet and heel overlay. Tan laces weave up to the Ishod Wair branded tongue in white.
Back towards the heel, reverse Nike Swoosh in an accenting shade of tan appears on the plush leather. Ishod branding also appears on the pull tab alongside Nike SB branding on the base of the heel. Below your foot, Nike React cushioning on the insole is combined with a redesigned cup sole to help you break your pair in faster. Bringing everything together is the khaki colored outsole with herringbone traction to provide stable grip while skating.
The Nike SB Ishod Wair Premium Light Stone is set to release on January 27th, 2022. It will drop on Nike.com alongside select Nike SB retailers both in-store and online. Retailing for $100 in men's sizing, this premium-built model is ready to be skated in.
