Nike SB has big plans for this year's Olympic games, crafting multiple silhouettes with a unified thematic design. Following looks at the SB Dunk Low, Janoski OG, and Zoom Blazer Mid, each adorned with safari-print details, Nike SB introduces the SB PS8 Olympic. The SB PS8, short for the Problem Solver 8, is named after legendary Nike employee Sandy Bodecker, known for his contributions to the creation and success of Nike SB.
The Nike SB PS8 Olympic features a dynamic blend of TPU, leather, and mesh on the upper, providing durability and breathability. The safari print details prominently adorn the mudguard and heel counter, adding a wild and adventurous touch to the sneaker. Flyknit portions in phantom hues seamlessly match the leather eyestays, creating a cohesive look.
The lacing setup introduces a bold pop of blue, contrasting with the monarch orange shades found on the vamp, sockliner, and Nike SB branding atop the tongue. Underfoot, the sneaker has a blue and semi-translucent rubber midsole that encapsulates a foam compound. The grippy semi-translucent rubber outsole features an orange nylon plate, offering enhanced support and stability for skaters.
The Nike SB PS8 Olympic will release on July 24, 2024, through Nike, SNKRS, Nike SB, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
