Nike SB was built and founded with skateboarder's insights in mind, often taking advice from consumers and pro-skaters on how to improve their models. One skater who has provided insight to Nike SB is Grant Taylor, helping them rework the Zoom Blazer Low for a longer-lasting silhouette. Now the GT version of the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low is getting a "Game Royal" makeover.
Coming dressed in suede across the various overlays and underlays, the sneaker takes on a simple two-tone game royal and white design. The monochromatic game royal look is seen on the toebox, eyestays, tongue, laces, and midfoot while the tongue tags Grant Taylor branding and Nike Swoosh on the midfoot come in white. Running back to the heel, a white on game royal Nike branded heel tab is above a canvas heel counter, also located just below a leather sockliner. More branding comes courtesy of the blue insole with GT taking over in white. Underfoot, the reworked vulcanized midsole gets higher taping between it and the upper for added durability. Rounding out the look is the Game Royal rubber outsole with a herringbone traction pattern.
The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low GT Game Royal is slated to release in 2022 through Nike and select NSW retailers online and in-store. Coming in men's sizing, the retail price will be $80.
