As one of the premier footwear providers for the skating world, Nike SB often looks to those within the scene to provide insight on their models and how they can improve them. With the silhouette dating back to the 70s, the Blazer has been seen on the feet of many skaters, though the model gets skate-ready improvements courtesy of pro-skater Grant Taylor on the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low GT. Recently emerging in a Game Royal colorway, the latest release to be revealed takes on a "Team Orange Black" look.
Dressed in Halloween-esque shades of orange and black, the silhouette takes on a suede and canvas construction throughout its upper. On the front half sits orange suede, sans the white mesh tongue with its black “GT” branded tongue tag, while the rear takes on canvas as its material of choice. Placed along the midfoot is a black leather Nike Swoosh that runs back to the black Nike branded heel tab. More black and orange hits make their way to the insole with further “GT” and “Nike SB” branding placed in black atop an orange insole. Underfoot, a white vulcanized rubber midsole houses a Zoom Air cushioning system with an improved design allowing for more durability. Rounding out the look is a black rubber outsole featuring a herringbone traction pattern.
The Nike SB Zoom Blazer Low GT Team Orange Black is slated to release in 2022 through Nike SB skate shops online and in-store as well as a possible Nike release online. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $80.
