Just in case you didn't already know, 2023 marks the Nike Blazer's 50th birthday, and to celebrate this massive milestone, the American sportswear giant has been unveiling a vast range of special edition colorways. From the "Classics" to the "Leap High," there's even rumors of a Supreme collaboration on the horizon. As if that wasn't enough already, we're now taking our first look at the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Patchwork "Black." The latest sneaker to get the coveted patchwork makeover, this will be dropping as part of a much wider collection.
Engineered for the hardcourt and remastered for the half pipe, this Zoom Blazer Mid boasts a multi-material construction that gives the classic model a deconstructed look and feel. From woven canvas to hairy suede, various textures and finishes take over the upper for a look that's guaranteed to turn heads. Mismatched Swooshes shoot through the lateral and medial sides, and this is accompanied by another one that has been embroidered in white. Up top, the nubuck tongue is dipped in desert ochre, and down below, the Zoom midsole opts for an all-white palette that will work with any fit you throw on. To round it all off, the custom insoles are finished with a series of playful illustrations, finalizing the special edition design.
Expected to release in Summer 2023, the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Patchwork Black will be available in men's sizes and will drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide for $100. As mentioned, these will be launching as part of a much wider collection, so make sure you follow Sole Retriever on Twitter and download ourMobile App to find out everything that you need to know and more!
