This year marks Nike's Blazer line's 50th anniversary, and to celebrate this massive milestone, the Beaverton-based brand will be launching some special colorways over the next twelve months. After checking out the "Patchwork Black" just a few days ago, we're now taking our very first look at the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Patchwork "Night Maroon." The latest shoe to receive the sartorially-inspired patchwork treatment, make sure you read on to find out everything that there is to know.
Taking on the American sportswear company's basketball-turned-skate silhouette, this rendition boasts a multi-material construction that nods to the collection's theme. Supple night maroon suede runs across the lateral and medial sides, and the lacing system is crafted from a rugged canvas material with unfinished edges that offer a delightfully deconstructed vibe. An oversized Nike Swoosh glides across the left and right of the Blazer Mid, and this is topped up by an additional one that has been stitched in black. Desert ochre hues paint over the tongue and heel, and all of this sits on top of a crisp white midsole that has been made for both the hardcourt and the half pipe.
Expected to release sometime in Summer 2023, the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid Patchwork Night Maroon will be available in men's sizes and will drop at Nike, the SNKRS app, and select retailers worldwide for $100.
