“Panda” colorways have become inescapable in the sneaker world thanks to Nike’s Dunk Low in the infamous black/white color combo that has appeared on just about every major silhouette from The Swoosh. Even with major restocks pretty much monthly, the hype for the Panda’s are still through the roof and Nike is continuing to cash in. If you’re a football player (or just really want a pair of Panda Dunks), The Swoosh is combining the Vapor Edge football cleat with the Panda Dunk to create the Nike Vapor Edge Dunk.
While its appearance may look like the Nike Dunk Low “Panda” on the upper, key details are changed like the branding details and sock-like bootie to create a lockdown when on the field. Black leather overlays wrap around the mudguard, eyestays, and heel while stark white shades land on the toebox, quarter panel, and collar with the Swoosh logo taking on a reflective 3M finish to shine when making highlight plays. More flashy branding comes in the form of iridescent text on the heel and atop the tongue while the sole unit undergoes the biggest change. Coming cleated, we see a two-tone black and white makeover take over the sole unit of the Vapor Edge with it also featuring more Nike branding near the toe.
The Nike Vapor Edge Dunk Panda is set to release on February 9th, 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
