Few athletes have made an impact as significant as LeBron James in the world of signature sneakers. LeBron’s fourth shoe with Nike, the Zoom LeBron 4, is hitting shelves in a new colorway in Summer 2024, this time sporting the color palette of the recently-retroed Air Foamposite One Eggplant. This will follow up on the Anthracite, Graffiti, and Fruity Pebbles renditions of the model.
Originally thought to be a Lakers colorway of the LeBron 4 (mock-up below), the upcoming release will be an Eggplant rendition of LeBron's fourth signature silhouette. The upper features Foamposite material in an eggplant finish. Adding a bit of contrast, a nubuck has been added around the collar, a touch that enhances the shoe's overall aesthetic. The Swoosh near the heel pops out in an iconic Lakers purple, as do the buttons on the medial side of the collar. To finish off the design, we see a black midsole and a black and clear rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom LeBron 4 Eggplant will release May 8, 2024, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $250.
