In the last year, sneakerheads have been inundated with mesh runners from almost every brand in the footwear industry. For Nike, the Zoom Vomero 5 has been the clear frontrunner in the category, so much so that The Swoosh is now offering a new winterized version of the model. On top of the multiple colorways of this Vomero 5 Roam model, we’re still expecting tons of new standard Vomero 5s, including a semi-familiar Bright Crimson Metallic Silver.
This pair features a mixture of black, metallic silver, and bright crimson, almost like a remix of the Black Bright Crimson colorway, which originally dropped in 2020 and restocked in August. On the base, we see a two-tone black and metallic silver mesh complementing the metallic silver overlays along the mudguard, midfoot panels, and heel overlay. Black pops are placed along the Swoosh, lace set, top of the tongue, and sockliner. Breaking up the two-tone look is the red TPU panel on the midfoot. Underfoot, the sneaker comes complete with a black, crimson, and white foam midsole with Cushlon and Zoom Air cushioning and a crimson and black rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Bright Crimson Metallic Silver will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
