Techy mesh runners have yet to go out of style, even if the footwear industry is saturated with different versions from every brand. For Nike, the Vomero 5 has held firm through this period of popularity. The Swoosh has plans for plenty more options for us sneakerheads shortly, as we recently saw previews of pairs like the Cave Stone and Bright Crimson Metallic Silver. For Spring 2025, Nike has prepped a clean Cool Grey colorway on the silhouette.
Across the base, we see a wide-spaced mesh in white, with the overlay above accenting in cool grey. This overlay includes the fuzzy suede details placed along the mudguard, toebox, midfoot overlays, and heel. More neutral hues land along the tongue, lace set, collar, and tongue tag, matching the base layer and the midfoot Swoosh. Cool Grey spills from the suede panels onto the TPU cages along the midfoot and heel. More tonal grey hues appear on the sockliner and insole. Finishing the look is the grey and white Zoom Air and Cushlon-cushioned foam midsole paired with a tonal rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Cool Grey will release in Spring 2025 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
