Once again, digging into their archives, Nike brought back the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 in response to the rising trend of 2010s runners and chunky "dad shoes” becoming fashionable. Alongside upcoming releases like the "Pink Foam," the Zoom Vomero 5 has emerged in a women's exclusive makeover with the Sequoia colorway.
The upcoming Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Sequoia retains the multi-material upper the silhouette is known for, encompassing leather, suede, mesh, and TPU. All of this is bathed in varying mossy green tones. The leather overlays near the toe, vamp, and eyestays, along with the TPU on the midfoot and heel, take on darker green shades in sync with the matching green Swoosh. Offering a nice contrast, silver accents grace the mudguard and surround the TPU midfoot and the heel overlay. A white Zoom Air and Cushlon midsole add a refreshing touch, while the outsole concludes the design with a sleek black finish.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Sequoia W will release in November 29th, 2023, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Exclusively available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
