Capitalizing on the mesh runners' craze from the 2010s, Nike strategically revived the Zoom Vomero 5. Since its comeback, this model has seen an impressive surge in demand, with fans eagerly awaiting the next drop. While recent attention has been garnered by the announcement of the Gundam and Baroque Brown Fir variants and the fact that the silhouette will be going back into the archives, Nike is gearing up for another release with the Zoom Vomero 5 in a serene Pacific Moss hue set for Spring 2024.
The upcoming Pacific Moss version introduces canvas as the base material, providing an elegant twist to the silhouette and diverging from the traditional design. The sneaker retains the classic suede and TPU overlays that the Vomero 5 is known for, which complements the canvas base. The predominant pacific moss shade sets the tone, beautifully contrasted by subtle pear-colored accents on the TPU midfoot cage and heel counter. The sneaker's look is further refined with black detailing, which includes the iconic Swoosh, tongue, eyestay, and sockliner. Catering to both comfort and performance, the underbelly of the sneaker boasts a pacific moss foam midsole, imbued with the responsive combination of Zoom Air and Cushlon foam, which seamlessly rests upon a durable black rubber outsole.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Pacific Moss will release Spring 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170.
