The Nike Zoom Vomero 5, originally a top-tier running shoe, has seamlessly transitioned into a streetwear staple, constantly appearing across social feeds and in trend-conscious wardrobes. As we approach 2024, Nike prepares to phase out the Vomero 5, but only with a flourish of new colorways, including the eye-catching Sashiko variant. Now, a women’s exclusive Platinum Tint Armory Blue has emerged and follows the footsteps of the Supersonic variant.
This new Platinum Tint Light Armory Blue edition of the Zoom Vomero 5 is a symphony of contrasting shades and textures. The design leverages the sneaker's signature multi-layered, multi-material construction, showcasing a creamy white and stark black blend with subtle blue hues. The TPU overlay on the midfoot and the outsole shines in Light Armory Blue, injecting a pop of color into the otherwise monochromatic palette. The mesh base layer intertwines black and white, creating a dynamic visual texture.
Black and white continue to play across the tongue and sockliner, adding depth and dimension to the design. A black Swoosh contrasts sharply amidst the white leather overlays, while the heel features a white TPU counter. Comfort is paramount, with the shoe's sole comprised of Zoom Air and Cushlon.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Platinum Tint Light Armory Blue W will release Spring 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available exclusively in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
