The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam Summit White Light Bone Releases Holiday 2024

Gorpcore and utilitarian footwear have remained a steady trend, with every brand introducing rugged, outdoor-ready offerings. Nike is looking to their ever-popular Zoom Vomero 5 to play a role in its gorpcore-friendly lineup as they’ve given the 2010s runner makeover. Dubbed the Vomero 5 Roam, we already saw this remixed model via official images of the Flax colorway and now have looks at a clean Summit White Light Bone version.

Upgrading the ruggedness of the sneaker, the Vomero 5 Roam in Sail comes with a reinforced molded rubber mudguard, waterproof ripstop base, and no-sew construction that help create a shoe ready to tackle the elements. A two-tone look is applied to the model, with the top half of the sneaker coming in a more sail hue while the lower portion comes in a more grey shade of white. Along the top half, you’ll spot an updated lacing setup, which features a hook and speed-lace setup, allowing quick adjustments. At the same time, the internal construction of the sockliner helps improve the comfort of the sneaker.

Reflective details land on the added pull tab on the heel, lace set, and lace loops, providing some pop when a flash hits. Underfoot, the sole unit receives significant improvements, with dual Air Zoom units in the heel and forefoot, an amplified crash pad, and Cushlon 3.0 foam aiding comfort. A rubber toe cap wraps up from the all-terrain traction rubber outsole, completing the look.

The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Roam Summit White Light Bone will release in Holiday 2024 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $180.
