Nike is ensuring its commitment to inclusivity shines through in its product lineup with the BETRUE collection. Every year, the brand launches a collection dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community. Following the success of the 2022 Pride collection, Nike's 2023 Pride Month celebration is set to include the a BETRUE-themed Dunk Low, representing the company's ongoing advocacy for equality in sport.
This iteration of the Dunk Low is defined by its metallic silver patent leather that graces the toe box, quarter panel, and collar, creating a sleek and shiny appearance. The overlays feature an iridescent gradient pattern overlaid with a grid, adding to the sneaker's aesthetic. Additional features include metallic silver accent stitching, contrasting white laces, and a rivet on the heel for adding custom pins. Completing the design is a clear semi-translucent rubber midsole and outsole, the former featuring icy blue accent stitching.
Originally expected to release in June, the Nike Dunk Low BETRUE To Your DNA will release Holiday 2023 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $130.
