For the third Phil Knight Invitational, held in Portland, Oregon during Thanksgiving weekend, the University of Oregon men's and women's basketball teams will be lacing up some player exclusive kicks. Some of the best feet pieces for the hardwood have been given a special edition makeover for the tournament in the Nike founders honor.
Among the collection is the Nike KD 15, Nike Zoom Freak 4, and Nike Zoom GT Cut 2. Each pair comes dressed in a super clean black and metallic gold colorway. All black uppers are present on each silhouette, only accented by shiny, metallic gold detailing via the Nike Swoosh branding on the sides. Black midsoles and outsoles complete the all-black look. For an extra piece of flair, a custom "PK" logo is found via the tongue on the left shoe of each model.
The University of Oregon x Phill Knight Invitational PE Collection featuring the KD 15, Zoom Freak 4, and Zoom GT Cut 2 will remain unreleased, available exclusively to the Ducks basketball team for the tournament.
