Packer, the New Jersey based sneaker retailer is no stranger to collaborations as seen with the recent Packer x Reebok Answer IV. Putting a simple elevated touch on Allen Iverson’s signature model, they continue this design language on their latest collaboration with adidas. Coming in three collegiate-inspired colorways, the Packer x adidas Forum ‘84 High Collection has been revealed.
Utilizing the premium materials often found on the adidas Forum ‘84 High, Packer brings us back to the 80s with “Collegiate Green,” “Collegiate Navy,” and “Collegiate Maroon.” iterations. All three of these colors are found on the suede Three Stripes branding along the midfoot while the rest of the silhouette comes constructed in the same materials and colors. Cream and Off-White shades take over the leather overlays around the upper, popping off the stark white canvas base.
These same shades can also be found on the laces which work up to a white on white adidas branded tongue tag. While maintaining its typical construction and branding, the only hit of Packer branding appears printed on the left insole. Rounding out the entire look is the cream white midsole with exposed Dellinger Webbing on the medial side, paired with the rubber outsole that matches the collegiate colored Three Stripes on each respective colorway.
The Packer x adidas Forum ‘84 High Pack is scheduled to release on February 18th, 2022 exclusively through Packer Shoes online and in-store at their Jersey City and Teaneck locations. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
