Sports cards have been a mainstay in the collectible world for decades now with rare cards fetching insane prices at auction and collectors ripping packs to find their next big payday. To honor this longstanding hobby, Reebok is teaming up with Panini America, the manufacturer of NBA trading cards, to bring the design found on their cards to life through Allen Iverson’s rookie sneaker the Question Mid.
White leather and mesh take over the top half of the upper with black accenting details landing on the Reebok vector logo atop the tongue and on the midfoot. The mudguard wraps from heel to toe in a black and blue zebra pattern that mimics the print found on NBA cards with a special hangtag nearby dressed in a Rookie Shield design. More hits from Panini come via the brand's logo atop the tongue and their Prizim logo featured alongside Reebok on the heel tab. Underfoot, a white Hexalite cushioned midsole gets accenting metallic blue hits on the Hexalite pods while the icy semi-translucent rubber outsole below hosts “Allen Iverson G” text on its heel and has co-branded Panini and Reebok logos splattered throughout.
The Panini x Reebok Question Mid Rookie Shoe has already seen a release out in the EU with a US release slated for November 4th, 2022. Releasing in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
