Following their successful partnership with New Balance and BEAMS in 2022, where they reimagined the 1500 and 920 silhouettes, Paperboy Paris is again teaming up with New Balance. This time, they're venturing into the performance running world with the FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4, perfectly timed with the excitement surrounding the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The Paperboy Paris x New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 features a sleek and functional design. The upper is crafted from white FantomFit material, providing lightweight support and breathability. Black accents contrast strikingly, appearing on the laces, the iconic N logo, and the sockliner. A distinctive element of this collaboration is the black TPU fused overlay on the toe, which forms the Paperboy Paris logo—a nod to the brand's signature style.
The tongue tag also bears the logo, emphasizing the partnership. Underfoot, the sneaker has a cream FuelCell cushioned sole unit, incorporating strategic midsole voids for weight reduction and an Energy Arc carbon fiber plate for enhanced propulsion. The look is completed with a matching cream rubber outsole, offering durability and traction for runners.
The Paperboy Paris x New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 will release on August 4, 2024, through Paperboy Paris in-store and online. As of now, the retail price has yet to be announced.
