PSG's Jordan MVP Is Set for a Fall Release
Published
Paris Saint-Germain continues its ongoing relationship with the Jordan Brand with a new footwear release. Following first looks at a PSG Air Jordan 6 Low, we can now confirm a club-tailored Jordan MVP is slated to drop this fall.
As one of Jordan Brand’s latest hybrid silhouettes, the Jordan MVP combines elements from the three sneakers worn by MJ during his first three-peat, the Air Jordan 6, Air Jordan 7, and Air jordan 8. Features from the AJ6 include the toebox, tongue, and sole unit, while the AJ7 appears through the paneling on the upper, Jumpman on the lateral collar, and pull tab on the heel. Iconic details from the AJ8 can be found with the TPU overlay and “23” branding on the lateral and medial heel, respectively.
PSG’s take on the model brings an all-black look with accenting hits of orange and white. Black nubuck features white contrast stitching along the upper, while orange hits appear on the Jumpman branding near the collar and nylon pull tab. On the AJ8-inspired TPU overlay, we see PSG branding in French, the only overt nod to the club throughout. White Nike Air embroidery on the heel and a black neoprene bootie help finish the upper, while the midsole and outsole come in black, white, and an icy semi-translucent blue.
The PSG x Air Jordan MVP will release this fall through Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $165.
