Breanna Stewart's partnership with Puma produced a historical moment for sneakers as her Puma Stewie 1 was a female athlete's first signature basketball sneaker in over a decade. Following the success of her Stewie 1 and 2 silhouettes, Puma has prepped a third model for Stewart with two colorways revealed, one for the Paris Olympics and the other in a Coral Yellow combo. Alongside these thematic pairs, versatile options suitable for a wide range of basketball enthusiasts, from rec leagues to high school programs, will soon be available.
So far, featuring the Triple Red and White Chrome colorways, the Puma Stewie 3 Team Colors Pack is designed with practicality and performance. Both colorways boast a simple mesh base, offering optimal breathability and comfort during intense play. Fused TPU overlays along the edge of the upper provide added durability and support, which are essential for the rigors of the game.
The sneaker's design is further enhanced by the iconic Puma formstrip and a floral TPU overlay on the midfoot, which, while adding structure, also nods subtly to the aesthetic elements that have defined Stewart's previous models. Branding is prominently featured atop the tongue with Breanna Stewart's signature S logo and again on the insole, marking the sneaker with the star's personal touch. A tonal midsole and outsole incorporate a floral pattern and an S logo near the heel.
The Puma Stewie 3 Team Colors Pack W will release on August 1, 2024, in the Tart Cherry colorway. The White Chrome pair will follow in the coming weeks through Puma and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in women's sizing, retail is set at $120.
