Saucony Taps Streetwear Label Raised By Wolves For A Collaborative Jazz 81

While a brand like Saucony may not be on the radar of your average sneakerhead, its work in the field of collaborations shouldn’t go unnoticed. Going forward we can expect fitted hat designer Jae Tips to bring his colorful aesthetic to the Grid Shadow 2 and possibly a follow-up to a sleeper hit of 2022, the TOMBOGO x Saucony The Butterfly, in a GITD colorway. Before those have a chance to release, Canadian-based streetwear brand Raised By Wolves has been tapped by Saucony for a collaborative Jazz 81.
In the teaser image posted by both brands, we get a glimpse into the simple color palette used in their collaboration which takes on a black, red, and orange combination. Across the upper, black canvas mixed with hits of suede and leather courtesy of the vamp, eyestays, and heel overlay come contrasted by the co-branded logo atop the tongue in a white and red combo. While the rest of the upper delves into the realm of all-black, the midsole and outsole provide a burst of color with red, orange, and white taking over the foam cushioning while the design comes complete via a semi-translucent rubber outsole.
The Raised By Wolves x Saucony Jazz 81 is set to release on February 10th, 2023 via raisedbywolves.ca while a wider release through Saucony Originals retailers will take place on February 20th, 2023. As of this writing, sizing and pricing are TBA.
