While the US Open has ended, Reebok is looking to honor the city that hosts the tennis event with one of the brand’s most iconic tennis sneakers: the Reebok Court Victory Pump. Worn by Michael Chang in the ‘90s, the sneaker has been enjoying its 35th Anniversary in 2024, with multiple colorways dropping earlier this year.
Taking inspiration from NYC’s nickname, the Big Apple, the sneaker brings this moniker to life with its red, white, and green color palette. Red hues dominate the toebox, mudguard, and midfoot portions, while the sneaker's upper half has a white/cream finish. On both portions of the sneaker, we see a contrasting speckle finish, while green pops are located on the Pump button atop the tongue and on the Hexalite logo back on the heel. More green is on the netting along the white tongue, with extra red accents on the tennis and Reebok branding nearby. Rounding out the look is the Hexalite-cushioned midsole in red and cream paired with a red rubber outsole.
The Reebok Court Victory Pump Big Apple releases on September 20, 2024, through Reebok and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
