Rich Paul is a Cleveland-based sports agent who founded Klutch Sports Group. His firm represents NBA players such as LeBron James, John Wall and Anthony Davis as well as a number of NFL players in recent years. As his star continues to rise, Paul has dipped his feet into the footwear scene for the first time.
Teaming up with New Balance on their 1989 basketball classic 550 silhouette, the retro sneaker features a clean look with subtle hits of color. It boasts an all-cream upper in leather, synthetic and mesh with perforations throughout. Hits of navy blue throughout provide the only accents outside of the sky blue on the outsole, brand heel branding and insoles. Dual branding on the tongue tag and insoles along, three sets of laces and a special box completes the look.
The Rich Paul x New Balance 550 is set to release in late 2021/early 2022. It will launch at New Balance as well as select retailers both in-store and online. They will be available in mens sizing, housed in special packaging with a retail price to be announced.
