Rick Owens, the fashion powerhouse known for avant-garde creations, continues his influential partnership with Converse to redefine the iconic Chuck Taylor silhouette under the DRKSHDW sub-label. This September, the collaboration is kicking it up a notch with a double-stacked sole unit.
The DRKSHDW DBL DRKSTAR Pack will arrive in two distinct colorways: one high-top in "Black" and another low-top in "Natural Ivory." Both iterations feature a canvas upper colored in the respective shade, with accent stitching on the black model and tonal stitching on the ivory pair. Elevating the design is the elongated tongue, which proudly displays dual branding from Converse and Rick Owens and the DRKSHDW DBL DRKSTAR text. Converse's All-Star patch is strategically positioned on the medial side of each sneaker. Perhaps the most noticeable addition is the double-stacked sole unit in contrasting black and white, while a gum-colored outsole finishes the design.
The Rick Owens x Converse DRKSHDW DBL DRKSTAR Pack will release September 8, 2023, through Converse, Rick Owens, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $170 for the high-top and $165 for the low-top.
