Salehe Bembury's groundbreaking collaboration with Crocs has redefined the casual footwear landscape with the innovative Pollex Clog. Since the initial launch, the Pollex line has expanded significantly, maintaining its popularity even as new designs and colorways drop. The latest addition to this iconic lineup is the vibrant purple colorway, nicknamed Ube, just after the newest drop from the Pollex Pod Collection, the Pollex Slide Guppy.
This all-purple Pollex Clog's design features Bembury's distinctive 3D fingerprint pattern incorporated across the upper with strategically placed ventilation holes around the sidewall and toebox, ensuring breathability and comfort. This design comes constructed from Croslite Foam, known for its lightweight and durable properties. Zonal rubber traction is strategically located on the toe, and select outsole portions enhance durability, making these clogs ideal for various surfaces. Co-branding elements are found on the end of the sports mode strap and the footbed of the insole, adding a touch of exclusivity to this vibrant footwear piece. The design is rounded out with the distinctive fingerprint-inspired outsole, providing both grip and style.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Clog Ube will be released on August 8, 2024, via Be A Spunge. A wider release on August 16 will follow through Crocs and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $85. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
