As the sneaker world looks on with anticipation, Salehe Bembury, known for his innovative designs and collaborations, extends his creative partnership with Crocs. The latest chapter in their ongoing Pollex Pod Collection narrative is about to unfold. Fresh on the heels of their previous drops, the new Pollex Slide colorway named Huckle is ready to make waves.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Slide Huckle showcases a plush plum-red hue enveloping its EVA foam structure, providing wearers with style and comfort. Not straying too far from the foundational design ethos, the forefoot strap proudly sports the distinctive 3D fingerprint pattern that has become synonymous with Bembury's creative touch. Stepping inside, users will be greeted by a textured footbed featuring dual branding — a nod to the collaboration between the two partners. Lastly, a crucial difference from its clog counterpart is evident in the outsole. While it maintains the visual design from the Pollex Clog, the Pollex Slide opts for a fully rubberized construction, replacing the foam with zonal rubber previously seen.
The Salehe Bembury x Crocs Pollex Slide Huckle will release September 21, 2023, through Be A Spunge's website, while Crocs and select retailers online and in-store will host a release later. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $70.
