The Salomon XT-6 has etched its place in trail runners and sneakerheads' chronicles. Originally a French alpine sports equipment company, Salomon's recent success in footwear can be attributed to models like the XT-6 silhouette. Following up on current collaborative efforts, including a link-up with END Clothing, a brand-new inline colorway of the model has emerged that takes inspiration from Mt. Siguniang in China.
Venturing into the design details, this release of the Salomon XT-6 offers a burst of color reminiscent of a vibrant mountain sunset. The upper is wrapped in an alluring rainbow tie-dye engineered mesh, which is contrasted gracefully with red TPU lining both the toe and profile. The midfoot overlays are dipped in a sunlit yellow, adding to the tapestry of hues, while the tongue branding harmoniously blends black, red, blue, and yellow. The sockliner and tongue are rendered creamy white, breaking the cascade of color. The energetic design is further grounded by the blue and yellow foam midsole, paired seamlessly with a multi-colored rubber outsole, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and functionality on rugged terrains.
The Salomon XT-6 Mt. Siguniang will release on August 28, 2023 through Salomon and select retailers online and in-store. While the exact pricing details remain a mystery, the silhouette will be available in men’s sizing.
