Since bursting onto the scene, Montreal-based design studio JJJJound has continuously contributed the sneaker landscape with its minimalist aesthetic and high-quality materials. After working with brands such as New Balance and Reebok, JJJJound is now set to release a collaborative rendition of the Salomon XT Wings 2.
Infusing Salomon's technical design with JJJJound's minimalist aesthetic, the sneaker features a white mesh upper adorned with tonal TPU overlays and stark white accents. JJJJound's branding subtly graces the medial heel, perfectly complementing Salomon's signature styling. Although the teaser image does not provide a full view of the sneaker, royal blue accents look to be placed throughout the design. Underfoot sits a white and royal blue midsole paired with a black and blue outsole.
The JJJJound x Salomon XT Wings 2 will release this year through JJJJound online on June 1st via JJJJound. A global release will follow on June 2nd. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is yet to be announced.
