Hoka, the French brand known for its innovative approach to performance footwear, continues to expand its presence in the sneaker world. While not traditionally linked with the "hype" aspect of footwear, Hoka's commitment to quality and functionality has earned it a devoted following. In a move that underscores its growth and appeal, Hoka collaborates with fellow French label Satisfy, known for its fusion of fashion and function. This collaboration follows Satisfy's previous partnership with Crocs, where they transformed the classic Clog into a performance-focused piece. Now, turning their attention to the Hoka Clifton LS, a lifestyle sneaker, Satisfy brings its unique vision to create the Highs and Lows Pack.
The Satisfy x Hoka Clifton LS Highs and Lows Pack features two distinct colorways – one in Forged Iron and the other in a harmonious tonal Celedon Tint. Each pair in this pack is a testament to the blend of lifestyle appeal with serious running credentials. The sneakers are constructed with a combination of mesh, ripstop, and nylon, all treated to be waterproof, ensuring durability and versatility even under challenging weather conditions. The toggle lacing system adds to the technical prowess of the design, offering both convenience and a secure fit. Underneath, the shoes boast a robust EVA-cushioned midsole paired with a sturdy rubber outsole, providing both comfort and traction. Branding details are subtly incorporated, with Satisfy's logo adorning the insole and lateral toe, while Hoka's signature branding remains on the lateral heel and tongue.
The Satisfy x Hoka Clifton LS Highs and Lows Pack will release November 16, 2023, through Satisfy and November 17 through Hoka and select retailers in-store and online. Pricing details have yet to be announced. For updates on this release and more in the sneaker world, download the Sole Retriever mobile app.
