All eyes have been on Saucony in 2024 as the heritage running brand found new life with collaborations from the likes of Jae Tips and the interest in techy mesh runners reaching an all-time high. One model that fits in this category well is the ProGrid Triumph 4, which is now joining the ProGrid Omni 9 in Saucony’s celebration of the four seasons with the Winter Solstice colorway.
Directly inspired by the Aurora Borealis, the colorway features iridescent overlays in varying shades that are found in the Northern Lights. Included in this are shades of gold, green, blue, and purple, all of which are grounded by the cell mesh base in a two-tone white and black color scheme. The iridescent hits continue onto the tongue tag, which features the phase of the moon on the right shoe and a wheel design on the left. Neutral hues come located on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel tab, the latter also hosting Saucony branding details atop its 3M finish. Underfoot, the model comes complete with a green and purple foam midsole that features an iridescent clear TPU shank on the midfoot paired with a semi-translucent rubber outsole with more Northern Lights-inspired colors.
The Saucony ProGrid Triumph 4 Winter Solstice released today, November 13, 2024, and is available now through Saucony and select retailers online and in-store. Offered in unisex sizing, the retail price is set at $170. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app to stay updated on the latest releases, raffles, news, and more in the sneaker and streetwear world.
