Nike is known for reviving classic silhouettes and iconic collaborations, and the brand is not slowing down anytime soon. We already know that the Wu-Tang Dunk High and Foamposite Galaxy are returning, with rumors of re-releases of the PlayStation Air Force 1 and Shattered Backboard Air Jordan 1 hitting the internet. Adding to this list of ultra-limited pairs that are possibly returning is the Scarr's Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 Low, a highly sought-after sneaker that originally debuted as a friends-and-family exclusive in 2019. Sneaker News first reported news of the pair's return.
Designed by Scarr Pimental, owner of Scarr's Pizza, with input from renowned sneakerhead DJ Clark Kent, this ultra-rare pair has become one of the most coveted Air Force 1s in history, fetching prices over $120,000 at auction.
The original Scarr's Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 Low features a color scheme inspired by the vibrant culture of New York City. The sneaker's upper boasts a clean white leather base accented by bold blue and orange detailing that pays homage to the city's iconic sports teams. The Swoosh is adorned in a striking blue, while the heel tab features a contrasting orange. What truly sets this pair apart is the personalized touches that celebrate Scarr's Pizza, including the pizzeria's logo embroidered on the lateral heel and the business's phone number and address featured on the toe and insole.
However, there is still some uncertainty about the specifics of the 2025 release. While many would hope for a true-to-original reissue, the official color scheme of the pair, according to Sneaker Market RO, is White/Deep Royal Blue, leaving out the original’s orange hits. We’ll have to wait and see exactly what the pair looks like in the future. In addition, DJ Clark Kent told Sneaker News that the shoe was not being released. Whether he is referring to a true 1-of-1 remake or a new iteration remains to be seen.
The Scarr's Pizza x Nike Air Force 1 Low is rumored to re-release in Summer 2025. Exactly how the pair will release remains a mystery, though it’s likely Nike and select retailers will get the sneaker.
