Sean Wotherspoon has consistently championed sustainable fashion. Having previously collaborated with adidas on a string of eco-friendly releases, the partnership now brings to life a refreshingly innovative take on the classic adidas Gazelle Indoor. This follows up on Wotherspoon’s “Corduroy” iteration of the Gazelle Indoor.
Crafted predominantly from mushroom leather, a testament to its sustainable ethos, this "Mylo" version of the Gazelle Indoor paints a kaleidoscope of colors on its canvas. Blue hues gracefully adorn the mudguard, parts of the eyestays, and the collar. This is promptly disrupted by the stark white Three Stripes, boldly standing out amidst the surrounding vibrant pink and orange shades. Detailing continues; co-branding efforts manifest in a tongue tag with Sean Wotherspoon and adidas markings. Back on the heel, Wotherspoon's signature "SW" peace sign is present. To round off this masterpiece, recycled gum rubber forms the midsole and outsole, reinforcing its eco-conscious narrative.
The Sean Wotherspoon x adidas Gazelle Indoor Mylo will release October 13, 2023, through adidas and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price has yet to be announced.
