Nike's long-standing partnership[ with tennis legend Serena Williams continues to evolve with innovative and inspiring designs under the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC) label. The creative team has now set its sights on reimagining the women's exclusive Nike Dunk Low Disrupt.
The SWDC x Nike Dunk Low Disrupt retains the distinctive asymmetrical lacing system of the model, along with its hallmark added panels at the toebox and heel. The topographic-like pattern debossed into the sundial suede mudguard and heel overlay adds depth to the design. Both the eyestays and heel overlays come mismatched, presenting a play of contrast and flipping color placement between the left and right shoe. The outline of the Nike Swoosh, stitched in vibrant yellow, stands out against the white midfoot panel. A pink Nike tag adorns the purple tongue, bringing a pop of color to the sneaker's upper. Completing the look, a white midsole with teal accent stitching rests atop a semi-translucent blue outsole.
The SWDC x Nike Dunk Low Disrupt (W) will release August 31 through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available exclusively in women's sizing, the retail price is set at $120.
