Miami's SoleFly boutique, renowned for its deep-rooted connections to Michael Jordan through store owner and Jordan's brother-in-law Carlos Prieto, remains a pivotal collaborator with Jordan Brand. With an annual tradition of releases, SoleFly is set to add another exclusive drop to its repertoire. The upcoming collaboration on the lifestyle-oriented Jordan Stadium 90 coincides with Miami's Formula One racing event.
The SoleFly x Jordan Stadium 90 Formula 1 Miami Collection offers four dynamic colorways, each telling a different story of speed and spectacle associated with Miami’s Grand Prix. The footwear collection is limited to 100 pairs, 25 for each colorway. One colorway features a subtle Beige Brown, while the other presents a stark monochrome White Black. A third pair shows off in White Aqua, while the fourth is in Cream Green.
Each is accentuated with blue woven tongue tags that sport SoleFly branding. These tags also pay homage to Florida and the Miami Grand Prix with intricate embroidery that includes a crane alongside the Miami Grand Prix track layout. The monochrome pair nods further to the racing world with a checkered flag pattern on the heel counter, echoing the race's finish line. Underneath, the sneakers are equipped with Formula 23 cushioning technology, ensuring that style meets comfort and performance, making them perfect for both casual wear and enthusiast gatherings. In addition to the sneakers, an entire range of apparel includes t-shirts, hats, and more.
The SoleFly x Jordan Stadium 90 Formula 1 Miami Collection will be released on May 3, 2024, exclusively through SoleFly in-store at 11 am EST and online at noon EST. A special pop-up is also taking place at Hard Rock Stadium, the venue hosting the race, with special F1 x SoleFly gear. The Cream Green and White Aqua colorways will be SoleFly exclusives, while White Black and Beige Brown will be exclusive to the pop-up. Each pair is limited to 25 pairs. The White Black, Beige Brown, and Cream Green are available in men's sizing, while the White Aqua is in women's. Retail is set at $175.
