Crocs has outdone itself yet again with a collaboration that taps into the nostalgia of countless fans as Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob Squarepants will come to life on the Classic Clog silhouette. The Colorado-based clog maker has a rich history of teaming up with various brands, artists, and cartoons, offering unique and expressive footwear options. The SpongeBob Squarepants collaboration is no exception, coming on the heels of Crocs' exciting partnership with Naruto Shippuden. Alongside this pair, there are multiple other SpongeBob Crocs on the way.
So far, the only colorway to emerge honors Patrick Star, SpongeBob’s neighbor and best friend. Patrick’s clog features a bright pink foam construction, reminiscent of his pink appearance, complete with his green and purple pants adorning the sole unit. This playful design is further enhanced with various Jibbitz charms, including an image of Patrick's home, a rock, the starfish himself sunbathing next to sunscreen, and a jar of mayo. These charming details bring Patrick's character to life, making the clog a must-have for fans of the series. The mayo jar isn’t the only reference to the famous "Is mayonnaise an instrument?" quote from the "Band Geeks" episode, as it is featured on the sports mode strap.
