Nike and Stussy are no strangers to one another. They have been collaborating with one another since the early 2000s. Now the two fashion juggernauts have linked together on the classic Nike Air Force 1.
The California-based fashion retailer has put their own unique twist on the Air Force 1 before. 2020 saw a duo of AF1 Lows released, sporting hemp-like woven uppers. This time around they are working on the mid-cut version of the classic 80s silhouette, a first from Stussy. Seen here is the first colorway of this upcoming collaboration. Coming in black and white, this pair sports a full premium leather upper with black overlays and white underlays. The perforations on the toe box have been reworked into Stussy’s classic double S logo with more custom branding found on the midfoot velcro strap enclosure, tongue tag and back heel tab.
The Stussy x Nike Air Force 1 Mid is set to release in 2022. It will launch at Nike as well as select Stussy retailers in-store and online. They will be available in extended men’s sizing, housed in special packaging with a retail price to be announced.
