With the NBA All-Star festivities only days away, Nike continues to reveal the product drops it has slated for the event. We already know that legendary sneakers like the Air Jordan 1 High Bred are returning alongside the fan-favorite Galaxy Foamposites, but Nike’s homage to the classics is not stopping there. In addition to a Nike Dunk Low featuring a retro typeface, the Air Force 1 Low is joining the All-Star celebrations.
Nike revealed that the inspiration behind the aforementioned Dunk and this AF1 comes from the 2000 NBA All-Star Game, the last time the event was held in the Bay Area, and the “We Believe” team. For the uninitiated, the Golden State Warriors in the 2006-2007 NBA season defied the odds not only by making a playoff appearance but by becoming the first eight-seed team to defeat a number one seed team, the Dallas Mavericks, in a best-of-seven playoff series in NBA history. Translating the team's uniform colors at the time, Nike applies a mixture of midnight navy, orange, yellow, and red, primarily coating the sneaker in midnight navy.

A mixture of leather and suede is present, with tumbled leather featured on the mudguard, eyestays, and heel, while suede finds a home on the toe and midfoot. A two-tone midnight navy and yellow lace set complements the navy-shaded ripstop nylon tongue and the hits of yellow on the vamp, tongue, and sockliner. Moving to the Swoosh, we see the logo in navy with an outline gradient transitioning from red to orange as you move back to the heel. Final details include the retro-inspired typeface on the Nike-branded heel tab and a sole unit that combines midnight navy and red.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low Retro Logo will release on February 16, 2025, through Nike and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the retail price is $125.
