With Teddy Santis and his Aime Leon Dore brand making waves thanks to their New Balance collaborations, the latest of which just saw its release, the Boston-based brand gave Santis the Creative Director role of their Made In USA line. A handful of 990s in multiple colorways have hit retail shelves but the line isn’t stopping there, with the latest New Balance 990v1 Made In USA coming in “Incense Macadamia Nut.”
As previously stated, the suede and mesh construction on the upper gets covered in neutral tones of incense and macadamia nut. Around the toe and heel overlay, a hairy suede takes on a beige tone, complimenting the lighter tone mesh and suede on the toebox, midfoot, and eyestays. The classic N logo stitched to the midfoot comes in a contrasting black, also present around the collar and sockliner. Tonal laces work up to the New Balance Made In USA branded tongue tag. On the insole, retro New Balance typeface with “New Balance” and “Boston, Mass” alongside the zip code for the brands headquarters is present. Rounding out the look is the white midsole and black rubber outsole combo.
The Teddy Santis New Balance 990v1 Made In USA Incense Macadamia Nut is set to release on June 30th, 2022 through New Balance and select NB retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $190. To stay updated on the latest from NB and more, keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
