Bringing back archival designs has become standard practice for New Balance as the brand is now reviving another forgotten sneaker with the New Balance 1000. So far, we've seen previews of a collaborative effort with Joe Freshgoods in Pink Mink and Black Ice and inline pairs like the Grey, Tan Pink, White Grey Cream, and Metallic Silver. A Black Multi-Color colorway is joining the range of New Balance 1000s in 2024.
This latest iteration of the New Balance 1000 features a robust black base that sets the stage for the vivid gradient patterns that highlight the silhouette's dynamic design. Starting with a deep purple at the toe, the colors flow seamlessly into a fiery reddish-orange towards the collar, creating an eye-catching visual contrast. Accentuating these features are the purple embroidered patches near the toe and the crisp 1000 branding, further emphasizing the model's unique identity. Green textile accents grace the sneaker's profile and heel, adding to the intricate detailing, with a splash of yellow mesh at the rear for an additional pop of color. The blacked-out sole unit featuring ABZORB and Ndurance technologies is rounding out the design.
The New Balance 1000 Black Multi-Color will release July 10, 2024, through New Balance and select retailers online and in-store. Available in men’s sizing, the sneaker will retail for $150.
