Clarks Originals is beginning a nostalgic journey by teaming up with the beloved Pokemon franchise. This collaboration brings a delightful fusion of classic footwear and iconic characters from the Pokemon universe. The special collection features four classic Pokemon characters: Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and Pikachu. Each character is intricately represented on the Clarks Originals Torhill, making this collection a must-have for Pokemon enthusiasts and sneaker collectors.
The Pokemon x Clarks Originals Torhill Pack showcases the meticulous attention to detail that Clarks is known for. Each model in the pack is artfully crafted with premium suede in tonal shades that reflect the distinct colors of Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, and Pikachu. The tongue tags are adorned with 8-bit renderings of each character, adding a retro charm to the modern silhouette. Additionally, the lateral heel of each shoe is tastefully embroidered with a Poke Ball in matching tonal shades, seamlessly integrating the Pokemon theme into the design.
The collection also includes specially designed hang tags that feature both Clarks and Pokemon co-branding, along with an additional label displaying the Pokedex number of each character, a thoughtful nod to the Pokemon lore. This number also finds a place on the spine of the heel, further solidifying the theme. Completing the design of these sneakers is a ribbed rubber midsole coupled with a durable rubber outsole.
The Pokemon x Clarks Originals Torhill Pack will release on December 8, 2023, through Clarks and select online and in-store retailers. Available in men’s sizing, the pairs will retail for $140.
