After a successful “Tent & Trail” Collection featuring two special edition Air Jordan 4’s that were released this past summer, the Los Angeles-based retailer is back with the Jumpman. This time around the two have chosen to work on the classic Air Jordan 2.
One of two colorways confirmed to be released, this Union x Air Jordan 2 Retro SP is known as the “Grey Fog” edition. It comes in grey fog, siren red and light smoke grey. Featuring an all-grey upper made up of canvas and suede. Perforations adorn the side panels with a blue underlay and AJ 13-like dimples on the collar. In addition, blue accents are also found via newly added plastic eyelets and a deconstructed tongue ties in with Union’s signature looks of the past..
Faded yellow provides an “aged” look to this Air Jordan 2 which can be found on the laces tongue tag and custom collar label. Union branding adorns the tag on the plastic eyelets as well as the aforementioned collar label and dual branded insoles. A white midsole, grey outsole and original “Nike” branding on the bottom of the soles as well as the back heel finish things off for this pair.
While a release date has yet to be announced, expect the Union x Air Jordan 2 Retro SP “Grey Fog” as well as the yet-to-be-seen “Rattan” colorway to drop on April 15th, 2022 via Union. The wider US release has been confirmed for May 26yh and will release via SNKRS and Nike NBHD accounts. Retail is set at $225 for extended men’s sizing. Each pair comes in special packaging along with three additional sets of shoe laces. Keep it locked to our Twitter andMobile App to stay up to date on future releases.
