Tiffany & Co. is highlighting its connection to sports through a small collection of goods. No stranger to merging luxury and sports, as seen through the jeweler's labels Air Force 1 collaboration, Tiffany introduces a custom basketball jersey from Mitchell & Ness, a Spalding basketball, and a book titled Crafting Victory at Tiffany & Co — all of which come clad in Tiffany Blue.
The Mitchell & Ness jersey features the number 57 as an homage to The Landmark, Tiffany & Co.'s experiential New York City store on 57th Street and Fifth Avenue. An interlocking monogram from the Tiffany archives is also embroidered in black and white to match the jersey's other marks.
The Spalding basketball should be familiar to hoopers, with the exception of its Tiffany Blue leather and the jeweler's name debossed in black. Rounding out the collection is the book Crafting Victory at Tiffany & Co., published by Assouline and featuring a foreword by LeBron James. The book breaks down Tiffany & Co.'s rich history in sports, which includes producing many of the world's most famous trophies, through more than 200 pages.
The Tiffany & Co. Sports Collection will release exclusively through Tiffany's. The basketball and jersey will go up via raffle, while the book will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Pricing has yet to be announced, though expect to pay the usual premium prices Tiffany items fetch.
