Travis Scott's influence on sneaker culture is undeniable, especially regarding his collaborations with Jordan Brand. Among his various designs, the Air Jordan 1 Low is a fan favorite, with a series of sought-after releases like the OG Mocha and Olive that have captivated sneakerheads worldwide. Now, before we can get our hands on the first release of his signature sneaker with Jordan Brand, the Jumpman Jack silhouette, images of his next pair have hit the internet.
Travis Scott's Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Black Olive features the distinct aesthetic seen with other Travis Jordan 1 Low designs. Olive suede is spotted on the mudguard, eyestays, heel overlays, and sockliner, diverging from the canvas used in the earlier sample seen at the 2019 Grammys. This olive hue extends to the lace set, creating a cohesive look.
A striking contrast is provided by the large white tumbled leather reverse Swoosh on the lateral side, while the medial side showcases a more subdued, tonal olive Swoosh in suede. Signature Cactus Jack branding is tastefully placed on the tongue and medial midfoot, with Travis Scott's smiley face logo embroidered on the left pair's heel, adding a personal touch. The design is completed with a sail midsole and a matching olive outsole, blending classic and contemporary elements seamlessly.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Retro Low OG Black Olive was originally set to release in September 2024. However, the shoe has been officially canceled. If it is released in the future, it will be available through Travis Scott's website, Nike SNKRS, and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in extended men's sizing, the pair will retail for $150. Download the Sole Retriever mobile app for updates on this release and more in the world of sneakers and streetwear.
