With a tight grip on the culture, Travis Scott’s return after his short-lived hiatus has brought with it a residency in Las Vegas, two sold-out shows in London, an album rollout beginning, and a variety of upcoming Jordan Brand sneakers like the Black Phantom and a women’s exclusive “Sail” colorway on his coveted AJ 1 Low. It seems 2023 will expand upon this partnership even further as news has come out that the man behind Cactus Jack will bring his keen eye to design onto the Air Jordan 7 Retro as well as an all-new signature silhouette.
Details as of this writing are scarce, though considering Travis’ history of Jordan Brand releases, expect his usual earth tones and utilitarian vibes to make their way to the often overlooked AJ 7. Cactus Jack branding (or Cact.us Corporation) should appear with co-branded Jordan logos as well as special packaging to tie the collaboration together.
The same can be said for his signature silhouette as no images or details have emerged. Whether the model will lean into the lifestyle or performance realm is up to debate until official word comes from Scott, Nike, or Jordan Brand or early images and information makes their way to the public.
