Travis Scott's influence on sneakers is unmatched. So much so that Nike and Jordan Brand are each giving him his own signature sneaker, the Zoom Field Jaxx (originally called the Shark-A-Don), and Jumpman Jack, respectively. While the Jumpman Jack is beginning its rollout, with the Sail colorway releasing on April 30, his Nike Sportswear model, the Zoom Field Jaxx, is still awaiting a release. Now, after Scott gave a fan his personal pair of the Beechtree colorway during the Utopia tour, early images of the Baroque Brown colorway have emerged.
This release features a mixture of premium leather and plush suede overlays complemented by jersey mesh on the tongue and collar, all immersed in a rich baroque brown. The sneaker's standout feature is its striking midfoot strap crafted from semi-translucent TPU and leather, covering portions of the tongue. White contrasts strikingly against the brown, appearing on the Cactus Jack branding on the tongue, the leather Swoosh, and the TPU eyelets. Further branding includes Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack smiley face logo, now embroidered on the heel tab, incorporating a Nike Swoosh into the smile. The design is completed with a responsive white foam midsole derived from the Nike Zoom Spiridon and a matching baroque brown outsole, ensuring comfort and style are not compromised.
The Travis Scott x Nike Zoom Field Jaxx Baroque Brown will release in Fall 2024 via Nike, Travis Scott’s website, and select retailers both online and in-store. As of this writing, the retail price has not yet been announced.
