Kelsey Plum and the Las Vegas Aces are looking to secure another WNBA Championship, with the team already winning the first game of this year’s playoffs. For Kelsey, we’ve seen her rock multiple PE colorways and pairs of the Under Armor Breakthru 5 themed after her throughout the season, including the Plum Pack and UFC PE. Now, Under Armour is giving Kelsey her flowers with the latest Breakthru 5 release.
The upper comprises suede, mesh, and leather, with the base coming in a cream-shaded mesh along the toe and tongue. More cream hues land along the leather panel near the collar and midfoot, while the leather back on the heel takes on a copper shade. This same copper hue is applied to the panel stretching from the midfoot to the toe, debossed with an intricate floral pattern. This same floral pattern is used on the back heel's overlay and insole. Branding details include the Under Armour logo along the midfoot and the Kelcey Plum logo atop the tongue's pull tab. Underfoot sits a UA Flow midsole with a gradient effect on the top portion, transitioning from copper to cream, paired with a cream UA Flow outsole.
The Under Armor Breakthru 5 Flowers For Kelsey W will release on October 3, 2024, through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Available in women’s sizing, the retail price is set at $125.
