Following the trend of many retro basketball sneakers getting a modern upgrade, Under Armour has taken the liberty of updating some of Steph Curry’s earliest silhouettes with UA’s latest cushioning tech, UA Flow, in what they dub “FlowTro.” For their latest rendition of the Curry 1 Low FlowTro, the ever-popular Sour Patch Kids candy is taking over the model.
Already seen on the Under Armour Curry 10, this “Sour Patch Kids” iteration takes the multi-color candy and plasters them across the engineered mesh upper while fused overlays and TPU help reinforce the structure of the model. These reinforcements can be found along the toebox and heel, take on a sky blue shade, and feature Curry branding in the form of his number “30.” Laces and tongue match this same hue while the former of the two features sprinkles of yellow throughout. Our final branding hits on the upper are visible atop the tongue with a lenticular Curry logo and Under Armour logo placed along the lateral side of the upper. Finishing the upper is a neon green sockliner while the entire sneaker is finished off through a white UA Flow cushioned sole unit.
The Under Armour Curry 1 Low FlowTro Sour Patch Kids is set to release on November 11th, 2022 through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $150.
