Taking a risk to join Under Armour (who wasn’t prolific in the basketball world), Steph Curry’s bet paid off as UA just recently offered the sharpshooting guard a lifetime deal valued at $1 billion. Over the course of their nearly 10-year-long history, the duo has released a signature silhouette every year with 2022s being the Under Armour Curry 10. Premiering with the “Iron Sharpens Iron” colorway, the latest rendition of the Curry 10 seems to be in collaboration with the iconic candy Sour Patch Kids.
Across the model, a mainly blue upper comes accented by multi-color hits featuring graphics of Sour Patch Kids and its packaging. This all sits on the UA WARP mesh upper while blue leather eyestays, a mesh tongue, and mesh sockliner come accented by a black/multi-color set of laces. Atop the tongue and back on the heel, a leather pull tab features Steph Curry’s logo that also makes an appearance on the lateral sides blue TPU overlay. This overlay as well as the one located on the forefoot comes with a multi-color splatter print that matches the rest of the uppers graphics. Rounding out the design is the UA Flow cushioning system which comes in all-white with an internal midfoot shank adding support and stability for on-the-court action.
The Under Armour Curry 10 Sour Patch Kids is set to release on November 11th, 2022 through Under Armour and select retailers online and in-store. Coming in men’s sizing, the retail price is set at $160.
